Funny story....George was at his hotel getting prepare to play a show the first time he heard Merle's song Wine and Roses. He loved it so much, he left his room and collection directly to where Merle was staying to tell him. He no showed for his own show, and was so drunk by the time he got to Merle's identify, he busted through the door saying "Why didn't I write that song?"
